Before I begin with this post-
I must say thank you!
Thank you dear friends for the outpouring of
prayers, well-wishes, and love!
I suppose this pregnancy "fun" ::sarcasm:: came across more serious than it really is-
but regardless-
I appreciate you all.
Now-
you may stop panicking/worrying.
Today felt like a marathon of a day!
Chadd had his first day of new classes, put in some hours at work {with Gavinn- bahah}, and had a chiropractic appointment {also with Gavinn- bahah!!}.
I had a morning meeting, a new student to welcome, and a 3:00 doc appointment.
This required some juggling and favors for someone to watch my students for 10 minutes so I wouldn't have to take a 1/2 sick day.
(Have I ever mentioned how fantastic the people are I work with? They are pretty awesome.)
I signed in for my BPP (Bio-Physical Profile) ultrasound and was given the lovely
"this is how much the delivery will cost you from the hospital" bill.
Who doesn't LOVE getting those?!
::Again with the sarcasm::
The BPP was super speedy fast!
Teagan was very cooperative (did I JUST admit that?!), scored ALL her points, and my fluid level is up to an 11!
SHWEET!
After the BBP, I headed for a NST (Non-Stress Test) and was hooked into that machine
F-O-R-E-V-E-R. (The nurse more or less lost track of time.)
From what I saw it looked great- but I'm not a doctor who interprets the data.
Then it was time to wait for the doc.
Usually I just text him and I get right in.
(It's fantastic!)
This time however- he was W-A-Y backed up so I actually had to...
::hold your breath::
WAIT!
Can you believe that?!
Luckily for doc I brought a great book and was happily munching on my must-have apple slices.
(And knowing that I've never really had to wait for him before... I felt it was only fair.)
Finally it was my turn and the moment of truth arrived.
"I" thought the results were good- but ultimately it's Doc's call.
I'm quite happy to report that Doc gave us all a clean bill of health and we don't have to do these tests anymore!
Hallelujah!
Well- I take that back- we will do another NST in a few weeks BUT that's IT!
That's 3 hours worth of doctor office(s).
Yikes.
I was very excited to get home and put my feet up!
Now, because I sent you all into panic/worry mode for no reason-
here is my gift to you (after my marathon day mind you)
{35 weeks (and some change)}
You.are.welcome!
