Last Saturday I woke up feeling dizzy and having a headache. Shortly, all hell broke loose and I wanted to be ANYONE but me. My body started aching, my stomach tossing, chills, sweats, fever, sore throat, canker sores all over my poor mouth, and a relentless pound-pound-pounding on my delicate little brain. I couldn't lay this way, I couldn't sit that way, I was exhausted! In short- I thought I was going to die. (Not literally, but it sounds more dramatic that way.)
I wasn't able to take care of Gavinn (I would have dropped him and falling over...) so Chadd took him to my parents on his way to work. My parents were in the process of moving, the timing couldn't have been worst I'm afraid, but I'm thankful they were able to take care of him.
Gavinn came home that night with a fever and was up most of the following nights. Thankfully it was Chadd's "Friday" he was able to stay home with us for the next two days. This is how they slept for at least two night.
Gavinn officially turned 6 months old on Monday.(See http://adventuresoflittleg.blogspot.com/ for more info.) He was THRILLED to spend it in a doctors office getting cotton swabs up his nose... However, not ALL bad, he did enjoy the paper!

He tested positive for Influenza A (H1N1 strand). He was quickly put on Tamiflu (which is a horrible concoction that he makes VERY clear each and every time) and made his "come back" to normality on Wednesday. Only to then contract the cold his mothers been enjoying on top of the Piggy Flu.
Although it has been nice to get a break... I've not changed out of my Jammie's more than once in the last week, worn make-up, heck! Worn a bra for that matter! Chadd's been cooking, cleaning, taking care of Gavinn, and seeing to my every need... It has certainly NOT been worth it.
I'm glad to be feeling "normal" again. I can't be up too long still or else I become weak and light headed, but I'm thinking positively and hoping to see "my kids" next week. Andrea has been a champ with taking care of everything at school. We both keep telling each other, "How'd I do it alone before? I LOVE having a partner!" Good thing too, because she's STUCK with me! :)
Again, a special shout out to Chadd! He's been such a champ! Did I mention he's been going to the chiropractor. They have been reteaching his muscles to support his spine... this has made his back extremely painful. Poor guy!
*Side Note: Attached was supposed to be a cute video of Gavinn, however after 8 HOURS of trying to load it... I quit! Maybe next time!

Love the comment about letting the ladies hang free! What a wonderful feeling!
I'm so sorry you were sick! What a rotten FB BFF to not even get it! Are you in need of treats? I just bought three 72 ounce bags of chocolate chips at Costco!
Man it sounds like you had quite the go with being sick. Sorry about that, being sick is the pits. Hope you guys stay healthy for a while. On a happy note, Gavinn makes a cute lion:)
